I have been a Certified Counsellor with Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association since 2012 (CCC # 3601). I am also a Registered Clinical Counsellor with BC Association of Clinical Counsellors ( RCC # 20124). I have bachelor of psychology from Simon Fraser University and Masters in Counselling Psychology from Adler University. I have over 13 years of experience working in different settings ( outreach counselling, facilitation, and adjudications) and with variety of populations ( homeless, individuals with concurrent mental health, immigrants/refugees, youth and families).
In addition to my clinical work, I teach second year Psychology courses at LaSalle college, further expanding my expertise and passion for educating the next generation of psychology students.
My approach to counselling is deeply rooted in Mindfulness-based techniques, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotional Focused Therapy, and Gottman Couple Therapy.
I work with youth, adults, families and couples.
When I'm not working, I'm driving my two young boys to their activities and squeezing in as many coffee dates with my life partner as possible.
